📖 About Back Beach

Back Beach at Bremer Bay is the exposed ocean-facing beach of this remote and stunning coastal town, sitting 515 kilometres south-east of Perth on WA's south coast within the Fitzgerald River National Park region. While the main Bremer Bay beach offers sheltered swimming, Back Beach delivers open Southern Ocean conditions popular with surfers and anglers who enjoy its raw, uncrowded character. Bremer Bay is also internationally recognised as one of the world's premier aggregation sites for orca (killer whales), which visit the area in the warmer months.
