πŸ“– About Barri Beach

Barri Beach (NSW 45) trends south for 1.5 km to Barri Point. The beach is accessed via the Yamba tip road, however past the rubbish tip it is 4WD only. As a result this undeveloped beach attracts only fishers and occasional surfers. The beach is similar to Pippi with an inner bar usually attached and cut by up to eight rips during and following higher waves. A rhythmic outer bar lies seaward of the deep trough. Rips form against both headlands and cross both bars.
