Bay of Fires on Tasmania's north-east coast is one of Australia's most iconic coastal stretches, famed for its brilliant white sand, impossibly clear turquoise water, and striking orange lichen-splashed granite boulders. Spanning the Bay of Fires Conservation Area and Mt William National Park, it offers free beachside camping, swimming, fishing, kayaking and bushwalking in a largely untouched wilderness.
