๐Ÿ“– About Ben Dearg Beach

Ben Dearg Beach is a wild and seldom-visited stretch of coast near Bayonet Head, about 20 km east of Albany in Western Australia's Great Southern region. The beach takes its name from the SS Ben Dearg, a Scottish steamer scuttled offshore in 1956, whose wreck adds a layer of maritime history to this already captivating spot. Rocky headlands, exposed Southern Ocean swells, and excellent rock pools make it a rewarding destination for anglers, history enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a rugged escape from the crowds.
