๐Ÿ“– About Buttress Point

Buttress Point is a rugged coastal headland near Allansford on Victoria's famous Shipwreck Coast, at the western end of Flaxman Beach where a continuous reef extends 200 metres offshore. This wild stretch of the Great Ocean Road hinterland is defined by crumbling bluffs, powerful Southern Ocean swells, and a coastline with hundreds of shipwrecks beneath its waters. It suits experienced visitors and sightseers drawn to dramatic coastal scenery rather than safe swimming.
