📖 About Cape Liptrap

Cape Liptrap is a dramatic and windswept headland beach within Cape Liptrap Coastal Park, located about 160 km south-east of Melbourne near Waratah Bay. The park features rugged ocean scenery, a historic lighthouse operational since 1913, and remnants of a 19th-century lime industry including old kiln ruins. The beach is unpatrolled and not recommended for swimming, but it's popular for rock pooling, fishing, and scenic coastal walks.
