π About Currumbin Beach
Currumbin Beach stretches 750 metres along the southern Gold Coast, bookended by the dramatic Currumbin Rock and Elephant Rock, and fronted by powerful waves averaging 1.5 metres that create a classic double-bar surf system. The beach is patrolled by Currumbin SLSC, one of the oldest surf clubs on the Gold Coast (est. 1919), but is best known as an advanced surf break with strong topographic rips. Rock pools at either end attract snorkellers and families exploring at low tide.
