📖 About Fairhaven

Fairhaven is a beloved surf beach on Victoria's Great Ocean Road, stretching 6 kilometres — the longest beach along this iconic coastal route — about 106 km southwest of Melbourne. Backed by a popular surf lifesaving club founded in 1957, and overlooked by the famous Pole House perched 40 metres above the shoreline on a concrete column, it draws surfers, holidaymakers, and sightseers year-round. The beach is best suited to intermediate surfers and active beachgoers who enjoy the classic Great Ocean Road atmosphere.
