📖 About Falls of Halladale
Falls of Halladale is a remote beach on Victoria's Shipwreck Coast near Peterborough, named after the iron sailing ship that wrecked here in 1908 while carrying a cargo of railway iron. The beach is framed by crumbling limestone cliffs typical of the Port Campbell coastline, and the rusting remnants of the wreck are occasionally visible at low tide. It's a dramatic, historically rich spot best visited on foot as part of a coastal walk rather than for swimming, given the powerful surf and exposed conditions.
