📖 About Flinders Beach
Flinders Beach is a 4.6 km arc of sand on the western side of North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah), stretching between Amity Point and Point Lookout in Queensland. The beach is unpatrolled, so swimmers should be cautious of strong rips and westerly drift when swell exceeds 1 metre, but at low tide shallow tidal pools make it a lovely spot for young children. Intermediate surfers enjoy punchy right-handers off Adder Rock headland, best at mid to high tide in winter.
