📖 About Frenchmans Bay

Frenchmans Bay is a dramatic, cliff-backed beach near La Perouse in Sydney's south, nestled within Kamay Botany Bay National Park beneath 50–70m sandstone bluffs. Swimming is strongly discouraged due to powerful reef-break surf, topographic rips, and submerged rocks, but the beach rewards visitors with outstanding coastal scenery, historic surrounds, and whale and dolphin sightings.
