Front Beach is one of the main beaches in Bowen on the Whitsunday Coast of North Queensland, stretching along Santa Barbara Parade near the town centre. Bowen is one of the few places on the Queensland coast where fringing coral reef begins just metres from shore, making Front Beach a handy base for swimmers and snorkellers keen to explore living reef without a boat. The beach is popular with families and visitors passing through the Whitsundays region, with a visitor information booth and relaxed coastal atmosphere.
