Gellibrand East is a remote and scenic ocean beach on the Otway coast of Victoria, in the south-western reaches of the Great Otway National Park near the mouth of the Gellibrand River. The beach is backed by the dense rainforest and towering eucalypts of the Otways, creating a dramatic contrast between dark green forest and open Southern Ocean swell that makes this one of the most striking coastal settings along the Great Ocean Road region. It suits surfers, anglers, and adventurous hikers who venture off the main tourist trail to experience the Otways' raw and untamed southern coastline.
