📖 About Grandfathers Beach
Grandfathers Beach is an extremely remote stretch of coastline within the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Southwest National Park in Tasmania, accessible only by multi-day bushwalk or light aircraft to Melaleuca. The beach faces the raw Southern Ocean and is surrounded by buttongrass moorlands, ancient rainforest and jagged ranges — among the most pristine wilderness in Australia. It draws only the most dedicated adventurers and is completely unpatrolled with no facilities.
