Hams Beach is a 1.5-kilometre surf beach on the southern side of Swansea Heads in the Lake Macquarie region of NSW. Exposed to open-ocean swell averaging 1.6 metres, it is known for its reef breaks and persistent rips β best suited to experienced surfers and bodyboarders. Backed by revegetated dunes, it has good parking and access near the southern end alongside the caravan park.
