Keppel Sands Point is a quiet, tidal beach near the small coastal village of Keppel Sands on the Capricorn Coast, south of Yeppoon in Central Queensland. The beach looks out across Keppel Bay toward Great Keppel Island and is popular with locals for fishing, crabbing, and soaking up the unhurried atmosphere of one of the region's most laid-back communities. Note that much of the beach becomes inaccessible at high tide, so timing your visit around low tide is recommended.
