๐Ÿ“– About Kings Beach

Kings Beach is a peaceful stretch of sand along Encounter Bay on the Fleurieu Peninsula, about 100 kilometres south of Adelaide near Victor Harbor. The bay, named by Matthew Flinders after his historic 1802 encounter with French explorer Nicolas Baudin, offers sheltered swimming and excellent conditions for spotting southern right whales during winter. It is well suited to families and those looking for a relaxed seaside escape with scenic views across to Granite Island.
