📖 About Lagoon Beach

Lagoon Beach is one of a string of sandy Murray River beaches along the northern frontage of Ulupna Island, about 12 km north of Strathmerton in the Barmah State Park. The beach sits among towering river red gums in an area celebrated as 'beach on every bend' country, offering swimming and riverside camping in a peaceful, wildlife-rich setting. Koalas, kangaroos, and over 120 bird species inhabit the surrounding island, making it as much a nature destination as a beach escape.
