Lights Beach is a stunning sandy beach near Denmark in Western Australia's Great Southern region, set within a protected bay backed by coastal heath and towering karri forest. The beach is sheltered enough for comfortable swimming yet the area's swell can pick up for surfers, and the surrounding Bibbulmun Track provides excellent coastal walking. Whale watching is a highlight from June through October, and the Denmark foreshore's cafés and wineries are just a short drive away.
