๐Ÿ“– About Mission Beach

Mission Beach is a tropical coastal town and beach on Queensland's Cassowary Coast, situated about 139km south of Cairns along the Coral Sea. Framed by World Heritage-listed rainforest that meets the sand, it is one of the few places on Earth where two such ecosystems exist side by side, and the beach is a known habitat corridor for the endangered Southern Cassowary. The beach is patrolled during season and suits families, nature lovers, and travellers looking for a laid-back tropical base with access to the Great Barrier Reef.
