๐Ÿ“– About Mon Repos Beach

Mon Repos Beach, 14 kilometres east of Bundaberg, is home to Australia's most significant marine turtle rookery on the eastern mainland, with endangered loggerhead, flatback and green turtles nesting from November to March. Queensland Parks and Wildlife rangers run nightly guided tours during the season, drawing around 25,000 visitors each year, while hatchlings scramble to the sea from mid-January. Outside turtle season it is a quiet, sandy beach popular with families for a peaceful stroll or a picnic.
