📖 About Ocean Beach
Ocean Beach is Tasmania's longest beach, stretching over 40 kilometres along the wild West Coast from Macquarie Heads to Trial Harbour, just west of Strahan. Fiercely pounded by swells rolling in from the Southern Ocean, it is not suited to swimming but is a spectacular place to watch sunsets and experience raw coastal wilderness. The beach is accessible via an unsealed road from Strahan and appeals to photographers, walkers, and those drawn to dramatic, windswept scenery.
