Palm Beach is Sydney's most exclusive and northernmost ocean beach, a long golden strip of sand at the tip of a narrow peninsula bordered by the Pacific Ocean on one side and the calm waters of Pittwater on the other. The beach is overlooked by the iconic Barrenjoey Lighthouse, reachable by a short headland walk with panoramic views over Broken Bay and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Popular with surfers, families, and day-trippers, it also serves as the filming location for the long-running TV series Home and Away.
