📖 About Palm Creek

Palm Creek is a small coastal beach on the Coral Sea shore of Hinchinbrook Shire, bounded to the southwest by the Palm Creek Conservation Park near Forrest Beach in North Queensland. The surrounding waters are partially sheltered by the Orpheus Island and Palm Island group offshore, and the foreshore backs onto coastal wetlands rich in tropical birdlife. Swimmers should heed seasonal marine stinger and estuarine crocodile warnings typical of far north Queensland waterways.
