📖 About Pennington Bay
Pennington Bay on the south coast of Kangaroo Island is a raw, exposed surf beach reached via an unsealed road off Hog Bay Road. Powerful southern-ocean groundswells roll in consistently, making it a magnet for experienced surfers, while the sweeping bay backed by native bushland is a favourite of photographers and wildlife watchers. Swimming is not recommended due to strong currents.
