Port Clinton Beach is a remote, undeveloped stretch of coastline within the vast Shoalwater Bay Military Training Area, approximately 100 km north of Yeppoon on Queensland's Capricorn Coast. It ranks among the largest untouched coastal areas south of Cairns, fringed by eucalypt scrub and offering long sandy sweeps in near-complete solitude. The area is a magnet for anglers and adventure-seekers, though access to the military zone is subject to periodic restrictions.
