Radical Bay is one of Magnetic Island's most celebrated hidden beaches, tucked on the island's north-eastern shore about 8km offshore from Townsville. Accessible via a scenic walking track through national park bushland — where koala sightings are common — the bay rewards visitors with pristine white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and some of the best snorkeling on the island. It's a favourite for day-trippers from Townsville seeking a more adventurous and secluded beach experience.
