๐Ÿ“– About Roaring Beach

Roaring Beach is a wild surf beach on the west coast of the Tasman Peninsula near Nubeena, Tasmania, known for its sweeping sand dunes, powerful waves, and excellent beachcombing. It is the only west-facing beach on the peninsula, fully exposed to the prevailing swells, and carries a dangerous rip โ€” making it best suited to experienced surfers and adventurous visitors. The surrounding area is protected under Tasmanian conservation areas and holds Aboriginal middens, fossilised wood, and stone tools near the creek mouth.
