📖 About Shark Bay (North)
Shark Bay (North) is a remote tropical beach near Gumlu in the Whitsunday region of North Queensland, situated along the Coral Sea roughly halfway between Bowen and the Whitsunday Islands. The beach is largely undeveloped, with warm waters and sweeping sandy shores backed by dry coastal scrubland, attracting fishers and those in search of seclusion. Visitors should note this is tropical crocodile habitat and marine stingers are present seasonally.
