๐Ÿ“– About Shelly Cove

Shelly Cove is a secluded cove within Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park, reached via a scenic 20-minute walk from the old Quarantine Station at the end of Pallarenda Road north of Townsville. The trail passes historic WWII gun emplacements and a searchlight station before cresting the headland with sweeping views of Magnetic Island. It's an unofficial nudist beach favoured by those who appreciate the rewarding walk and the quiet, sheltered waters it reveals.
