Snelling Beach is widely regarded as the best swimming beach on the north coast of Kangaroo Island, featuring a lovely arc of powdery white sand backed by low scrub, easily accessible from the North Coast Road. The sheltered shallows are calm and inviting, making it popular with families and swimmers of all abilities, while the lack of heavy facilities adds to its unspoiled charm. Anglers also fish from the boat launch ramp on the western edge of the bay.
