Solomontown Beach is a man-made sandy inlet on the banks of the Pirie River near Port Pirie, offering safe, calm swimming water that is well suited to families and young children. Stretching around 500 metres, the beach features light-coloured sand, ample shade, and good facilities, and serves as a hub for local community events throughout the year. Its sheltered, river-fed conditions make it one of the safest swimming spots in the Spencer Gulf region.
