Stark Bay sits on the sheltered northern shore of Rottnest Island (Wadjemup), just a 20-minute ferry ride from Perth, and is a favourite snorkelling spot when southerly winds make the island's south-facing beaches choppy. The clear, calm waters are home to over 400 species of fish, western rock lobsters, and vibrant coral gardens, making it a rewarding destination for underwater explorers. Accessible by bicycle or the island bus, it offers a peaceful alternative to the more crowded southern bays.
