Twin Reefs is a surf break at Cape Paterson on Victoria's Bass Coast, about 144 kilometres south-east of Melbourne and just 8 kilometres south of Wonthaggi. The reef produces quality waves that attract local surfers seeking alternatives to the more crowded breaks, and the rugged coastline around Cape Paterson is renowned for dramatic rock formations including the iconic Eagles Nest arch nearby. It suits intermediate to experienced surfers, with rock-pools and scenic coastal walks making the area rewarding even on flat days.
