Wangetti Beach is a long, secluded tropical beach located between Cairns and Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, stretching for several kilometres along the Coral Sea. Fringed by rainforest-covered mountains and coconut palms, it's a strikingly beautiful and largely deserted beach with a wild, untamed character. It suits experienced swimmers and nature enthusiasts, though stinger nets are not available and crocodile warnings apply seasonally.
