๐Ÿ“– About Welcome Beach

Welcome Beach is a quiet tropical beach within the Yarrabah Aboriginal community on the southern shores of Trinity Bay, about 50 km south-east of Cairns in Far North Queensland. Framed by rainforest-clad hills and facing the Coral Sea, the beach holds deep cultural significance for the Gunggandji people and offers warm, calm swimming waters in an almost entirely unvisited setting. Visitors should be aware that Yarrabah is an Aboriginal community area and access permissions may be required.
