📖 About Willis Island
Willis Island is a tiny coral cay in the Coral Sea approximately 450km east of Cairns, home to Australia's most remote staffed weather station. The island's beaches are pristine and completely uninhabited aside from Bureau of Meteorology staff, making it one of the most inaccessible coastal spots in the country. It's essentially off-limits to the public but represents Australia's most isolated coastal outpost.
