๐Ÿ“– About Wombarra Beach

Wombarra Beach is a quiet, semi-rural strip of sand in the Illawarra region, framed by a dramatic sandstone escarpment and a row of stately Norfolk Pines. The beach is best known for its magnificent wide ocean rock pool at the southern end, which includes a shallow toddler pool โ€” a firm favourite with local families. A right-hand beach break draws a modest surf crowd, and the low crowds make it a peaceful alternative to the busier Wollongong beaches.
