📖 About Woolgoolga Beach

Woolgoolga Beach — known locally as Woopi — is a long, wide surf beach on the NSW Mid North Coast backed by a grassy reserve and headland with sweeping views toward Coffs Harbour. The town has one of Australia's largest Punjabi-Sikh communities, whose presence is celebrated at the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple perched visibly on the hill above the beach. Consistent surf breaks attract surfers of all abilities, and the beach is patrolled by Woolgoolga Surf Life Saving Club during summer.
