📖 About Wreckers Beach

Wreckers Beach is a wild and isolated beach on the southern coast of Kangaroo Island in South Australia, within the rugged Flinders Chase National Park precinct. Pounded by Southern Ocean swells and hemmed in by limestone cliffs and native scrub, it earns its name from a coastline that claimed many vessels in the days of sail. The beach rewards those willing to make the trek with dramatic scenery, excellent fishing, and a profound sense of remoteness.
