YCW Beach sits within a sheltered bay on the south coast of Phillip Island, Victoria, near Cowes. Named after the Young Catholic Workers club that once had a camp nearby, it offers gentle rolling surf ideal for beginner surfers and is popular for snorkelling, fishing, and beach walks. The beach is unpatrolled so visitors should take care, but its wide sandy stretch at low tide provides plenty of space for families and kids.
