๐Ÿ“– About Angourie Back Beach

Angourie Back Beach is a raw, powerful surf beach tucked behind the world-famous Angourie Point break, in the small village of Angourie just south of Yamba on the NSW North Coast. It receives strong east-northeast swells and is best suited to experienced surfers and confident swimmers, while the golden sands and dramatic headland setting make it equally rewarding just to watch. The area was immortalised in the 1971 surf film Morning of the Earth and remains a pilgrimage site for surf culture enthusiasts.
