๐Ÿ“– About Fort Beach

Fort Beach is a small beach at Blackmans Bay, a southern suburb of Hobart on the Derwent River channel, about 15 kilometres south of the city centre in the Kingborough area. The beach takes its name from historic coastal fortifications in the area and offers sheltered river swimming with views across the Derwent to the Eastern Shore, in a well-established residential community adjacent to the popular Kingston Beach. It suits local families and those exploring the scenic Channel region south of Hobart.
