πŸ“– About Gannet Beach

Gannet Beach (NSW 488) is 400 m long and is a more curving east-facing beach, with the northern Jurwin and southern headland forming a 300 wide gap, which lowers waves to about 1 m. These maintain a wide low tide terrace, cut by rips against the boundary rocks and in the centre during higher waves. It is backed by a foredune, road and house to either side, with a central reserve, and a small creek against the southern rocks. It drains a landlocked 9 ha reserve and wetland behind the houses. It can be accessed from either end and the road along the foredune.
