πŸ“– About Gerringong Harbour

Gerringong Harbour is a small, sheltered sand and cobble beach tucked into a narrow rocky bay on the Illawarra coast, about 20 km south of Kiama. The historic harbour once serviced the coastal trade and saw its first shipwreck in 1842; today it's a quiet spot where small fishing boats launch from the ramp. A heritage rock pool built in the early 1900s sits on the northern rocks, and a shady picnic area behind the seawall makes it a lovely low-key escape for families and anglers alike.
