📖 About Gibson Beach
Gibson Beach lies at the base of the iconic Gibson Steps in Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, just a couple of minutes' drive from the Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road. A steep staircase carved into the towering limestone cliffs leads down to the beach, where visitors can stand at sea level and take in the raw power of the Southern Ocean and the sheer scale of the surrounding cliff faces. Swimming is strongly discouraged due to dangerous surf and rips, but it's one of the most visually dramatic beaches on the entire Australian coastline.
