📖 About Penders
Penders Beach sits within Mimosa Rocks National Park on NSW's Sapphire Coast near Bega, forming part of the Bithry Inlet area at the mouth of Wapengo Lake where three reef-fringed beaches meet a pristine coastal lagoon. Conditions are not suitable for surf swimming due to rocky outcrops, but tidal pools provide safe exploration and the dramatic headlands and sea caves make for spectacular coastal walks. The area is a draw for anglers, birdwatchers and nature lovers seeking a remote and largely undeveloped stretch of this 5,800-hectare national park.
