Seven Mile Beach is a spectacular seven-kilometre arc of white sand curving along Frederick Henry Bay, roughly 20 minutes south-east of Hobart near Hobart International Airport. Backed by the Seven Mile Beach Conservation Area, the beach offers consistent surf breaks, excellent conditions for walking and jogging, and is patrolled by Surf Life Saving during summer. It suits surfers, swimmers, and walkers alike, and its vast open sky makes it a favourite for kite-flyers and sunset chasers.
