๐Ÿ“– About Wategos Beach

Wategos Beach is a gorgeous crescent-shaped cove tucked on the northern side of Cape Byron, sheltered by the headland that holds Australia's most easterly lighthouse. The mellow, spilling waves make it ideal for longboarders and beginners, while the calm, clear water is also excellent for swimming and snorkelling. One of Byron Bay's most scenic and sought-after beaches, it's a great spot for whale-watching during the annual migration.
